Hosted by the Kleinman Center and the Vagelos Institute for Energy Science and Technology, the event gathered leaders driving the future of clean energy. These meetings represent more than a seat at the table — they reflect our ongoing commitment to ensuring that the transition to clean energy is equitable, inclusive, and built alongside the workers and communities who power it. ![]() On Wednesday, February 25, we gathered at USW Headquarters in Pittsburgh for a Union Energy Industry Work Group meeting focused on the future of manufacturing in Pennsylvania. The meeting was led by Bernie Hall, Director of United Steelworkers District 10, and brought together approximately 16 key representatives from labor, environmental organizations, industry, and research institutions. A key focus of our discussion was the potential investment by Nippon Steel in the Mon Valley.
